Lovely campsite with plenty of clean sanitary facilities and free wifi point.
Lovely friendly helpful staff. Only slight drawback if the amount of school groups they host to the far. Queuing for the loo with a bunch of 6 year olds is not great! Also pool ( which is lovely) was locked when there was a school group on site. Info shows the wheelchair symbol, although there was a disabled toilet labelled by reception it is not wheelchair accessible. The paths around the site are either deep gravel or very rough hardcore. Absolutely not wheelchair friendly!

We stayed here for 3 nights on our way back to Caen. It was July so out of the ACSI period. We were beginning to get desperate for a campsite when we found it. The toilets and showers are the best we have ever used on any French site and our pitch was enormous. However, the toilets, showers etc. are in a strange place at the other side of the swimming pool and not central as in most sites. What was worse is that to empty the toilet cassette you had to walk through the pool area. We were right at the end so it was quite a yomp to all the facilities. The pool was small and full of children with inflatables of all kinds. It also seemed to be used by kids visiting the educational farm so could be very crowded. The worst thing was that the electric kept going off and it got so bad we got a refund of the electric costs. There was no lighting at night nor a security barrier. The site might be good value in low season and it was definitely child friendly but it was not worth the costs per night!
A pleasant location. But sanitary block not finished (plaster and fixings) but acceptable and will be excellent when complete. Electricity supply erratic and lacking in power. Understand this will be sorted during the winter season. Also a lot of school age children about at the time of our visit who tended to monopolise pool and play area. Bar closed in June.
We have stayed here for 11 nights in JUne 2013. We extended our stay as it is so pleadsant and amenable here. You have a swimming pool, large pitches, a secluded location, very peaceful, and very helpful staff. You can order your bread for the next day as well. We had a serviced pitch right next to an open field - it has been beautiful and relaxing - secure enough for us to let our cat roam around as she likes. New toilet blocks are being built to a very good standard - only half is to be completed. The facilities in the section already completed are the best we have found in France so far (our fifth site). THere are disabled facilities, constant soap and low rolls and very well laid out and designed to match tyhe rest of the site. It is also situated in the heart of Chateau country, and we have found eight majopr Chateaux within easy reach, plus the city of Blois nearby. Highly recommended.
A lovely campsite in a charming part of France. Very accessible to Amboise & Blois and the other chateaux of the Loire although such a relaxing site we didn't do as much site seeing as intended. Owners very friendly and helpful. Ideal for families with primary age children - pool, animals, playground as well as lots of space for imaginative play. Nice mix of nationalities & ages. Large, secluded pitches. Would recommend to anyone looking for a low-key, relaxing site in the countryside.
Visited for 2 nights in June 2011. Very rural campsite. Had a good sized pitch next to the pond which was quite small but my husband did catch quite a few fish! We didn't use the pool but there was a party of children who seemed to be enjoying it very much. Noisy large group of campers who spoiled our second night - 1 of whom thought it was fun to rock our motorhome! Reported this next morning and our complaint seemed to be taken very seriously. Toilet/shower facilities could do with upgrading but kept clean.
