Excellent site, close to Dordogne river and town of St.Foy Le grande.
Peter site owner was extremely friendly and helpful runs a very good site.
Would certainly recommend and revisit.
Stayed here in 2014 15 16& 17 always top notch. Pool good and clean. Toilets and shawers plenty of hot water. Staff always ready to help nothing to much trouble. Thanks Peter and family
A wonderful site. Pitches are spacious and well maintained. Very friendly staff and campers. Nothing too much trouble. A true \"European\" campsite with Brits, Dutch, French, Germans, Italians, and Belgians. Just what camping is all about. Would not hesitate to recommend this site to friends. Real dog lovers with great exercise area. Town was very disappointing with many shops closed or empty.
Frist class campsite stayed 2014-2015 & 2016 for long stays. allso book for 2017. Thank Peter and family.
Yet another fantastic visit to the site. Pete and Kay you guys are wonderful and we are extremely happy to know you. See you in September. Cant wait love you guys xx
The site is compact but extremely nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The toilets were clean and tidy. Cannot comment on child friendliness because no children in the party. Very dog friendly. The site location is brilliant for walking into town, the town is colourful with good shopping opportunities. I believe the site would benefit by having a small cafe, bar. However it was the quietist site we visited and look forward to a re visit.
Second visit here. Lovely site which is kept in wonderful condition. Grass is mowed regularly by Bob who uses the work as exercise and a chance to chat with residents! Very welcome
A small English owned site with English staff. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner Peter, or any of his staff/family. They always had time for a friendly word when passing and were full of local knowledge when asked. The cleanliness of the facilities could not be bettered . Wifi was free and I received a good reception during my stay.I must agree with other reviewers the town is a short walk away but nothing to strenuous as is the Super U supermarket in the opposite direction. Would highly recommend this site but don\'t want to spoil this little treasure of a site.
This is a small 27 pitch site with a few fixed chalets and a tenting area. It is situated on the banks of the Dordogne. The landscaping is perfectly groomed and the facilities such as the pool were being meticulously prepared for the coming season when we were there. The site is owned and run by Brits who are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are basic but adequate and spotless.
There is plenty of walking alongside the Dordogne and the small town is a few minutes walk away with plenty of shops , bars and restaurants.
This site deserves more than 3 stars, or some of the other 3 star sites don’t deserve that many.
This must be our fourth or fifth visit in a year, good as usual, very welcoming. This was our first venture this year, after checking everything, we arrived at the site, only to find the water filter was frost damaged. This could have been a complete disaster, with a return home. But no, Peter, busy as he was, dropped everything and helped me bypass the filter and get the water up and running. Thank you Peter.
