Mr D Down, on this campsite in June 2017

Travelling party: Seniors

Arrived here for our third visit, reception was helpful and courteous as always, we walked on to the site and selected our pitch. Stayed for 3 weeks, a fabulous time, weather was glorious, went cycling every day, swam in the pool most days. Met with several friends from previous stays, some of whom were here for the 20th year in succession. The pitches are quite small but accommodate our folding camper with awning and car ( bit of a tight squeeze ). Fortunately in the low season there are usually some empty pitches which the car can go on. Thoroughly recommend this site but just hope it does not get too popular for the selfish reason we want to keep on returning.

I am completing this customer comment because we attempted to stay at this site in Oct 2016
We arrived early AM and went to reception.
We spoke to a female member of staff and said we wanted to say at the site for a few nights.
she replied yes that would be fine.
She then asked me is that your camper. I replied yes. she then said you will have to go on one of our larger pitches and that will cost you extra euros a night.
I then asked are you sure my camper wont fit on a regular pitch/
She replied Sternly \"NO\" and was not friendly at all and made me feel very unwelcome and not wanted and not accommodating at all
We said we were NOT willing to pay any more than printed in the ACSI book.
We left the site very upset by her attitude and manner.
We have been travelling though Europe for 4 months and have never paid more than stated in the ACSI book and never will..
This was not a pleasant experience at all........

Excellent campsite, stayed there on numerous occassions. Friendly staff, Toilet facilities are good and always kept clean. The swimming pool is excellent with plenty of room round for sunbathing + small bar/cafe. Small supermarket & restaurant also on site.

I went to this camp-site in June 08 and really enjoyed my stay.
The pitches were quite a good size, although you might struggle if you had a large caravan with an awning but there are seperate parking spaces for cars if needed.
When we were there it was not even half full so we had a good look round until we found our perfect pitch.
There were a lot of long-stay dutch people on the site with masses of equipment with them which we thought was rather amusing(talk about everything but the kitchen sink) but they were really friendly.
We had no problems with any noise at night and there was always security going around to keep a check on everything.
You were only about 10-15 mins walk forn the centre of Cambrills and not much further from Salou.
Next year we will remember to take our bikes as its an ideal area for cycling.
We cant wait to go back next year.

We stayed at this campsie for a couple of nights in June 2008 and were pleasantly suprised at the prices compered with other Spainish campsites.
The toilet facilities were very clean and never full, the swimming pool was loverly but could do with a lot more shade.
The campsite was huge with a lot of permanent plots and some very nice bungalows but it was really quiet even though it was quite busy.
The staff were very freindly and helpful and the security was very good at night although we felt very safe there anyway.
It was about one kilometour to thr centre of Cambrills and about two kilometors to Salou so it was quite central although we wish that we had brought our bikes with us as all of the Dutch did.
All in all a brilliant site which we will be visiting next year hopefully staying for six nights or more and getting an extra 25% off the price for staying longer.
