We were disappointed to find so many camp sites closed in this area. However encouraged by reviewers comments that this would be a good base for visiting Florence we checked in to a lovely welcome. Once settled we learned that the only bus the following morning was at 6.30 and that would be a 2 hour trip. Given that this was March I guess that winter service was still operating. Still we enjoyed watching three hours of six nations rugby in the bar, but BEWARE three beers cost E24!!!! House wine on the other hand was E8 a litre. We had a good supper in the restaurant that night and understood why the locals were drinking just water! The site was a bit delapitated, again this was very low season but there no signs of the grounds being spring cleaned. Toilets and showers were fine. The site is pretty much full of static caravans with ramshackle extensions, probably owned by Florentines escaping the summer city heat. Beware of theft in Florence. I was shoved whilst boarding a bus and my purse stolen.

Very Italien! Children up until very late so not the quietest of sites. Toilet and showers very good. Restaurant good home cooking, and very good, but the proprietor\'s mother seems to overcharge, so check your bill.
Train or bus to Florence a 25 minutes drive but don\'t get caught out by the times, the trains don\'t run between for 3 hours after 10am so the bus is better. Site is quite steep and some of the pitches are difficult to access

Very scenic, views of the forest and mountains. Restaurant excellent, no English spoken but they were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Best toilets and showers we have come across, very clean, hot water and toilet paper. Excellent stop off and looks like it would be very good for a longer stay in the season.

This camp site is perfect after visiting the Mc Glugen Outlet. You don't have to pay, You can enjoy your unlimited WIFI. The food was good! Near Outlet there are many good restaurants. Also recommended for who wants to eat. Fiorentina too!!

Very steep access to some pitches, 4-wheel-drive had difficulty; difficult for caravans due to small pitch size and trees to manoeuvre round (however site doesn't claim to be suitable for large outfits). Staff very welcoming. Very noisy in late evening due to bar/restaurant on site.

Absolutely stunnning campsite with best toilet / shower block we have seen. Staff went out of their way to help and the food and drink in the restaurant, in October, was excellent. What a shame more sites are not like this.
