A smashing site well looked after and run by a German family. Good sized pitches and fabulous shower and toilet block which was spotlessly clean with plenty of cubicles.
A good restaurant but only a limited choice, which is fine for a short stay, but there are 2 more restaurants in the village, a 5 minute walk from the site.
Will defiantly be coming back again.
A lovely site & one we would visit again. We were really lucky to get a sea front site at the start & ended up staying 2 weeks instead of 1 as it was so restful there. Our pitch had lovely views over the beach & sea & was next to the coast path into Drage, the swimming pool & the cafe. The site is terraced with quite big, level gravelled pitches, each with water supply & electricity. There is security fencing & gates to the beach which is open to the public. The beach is shingle & quite sharp so footwear is needed in the water. The sanitary facilities are very good, located in the centre of the site near reception in a futuristic building with toilets, showers etc running in concentric circles. The downside for us was that it was quite a hike up the hill to get to it. Reception staff are friendly & helpful & will exchange money into kuna. The shop was a joke though, so run down in September that it wasn\'t worth visiting, not even water there. Our guide said don\'t drink the water in Croatia so we & the other campers had to walk past the village & up to the supermarket on the main road to pick up water & other supplies, a long trek uphill. The sea water filled swimming pool onsite looked amazing at first glance but would fall far short of most health & safety inspections. It was very deep with no shallow end and not many places to get out. At one end there were three entry steps into the water that led to a drop out of depth. The shiny, slippy, metal diving stands at the edge looked like an accident waiting to happen. The walls around the edge were half complete with metal sticking out the top of the concrete. As swimmers we loved the pool but thought it quite dangerous for children or poor swimmers. Parents took children on the beach instead. The onsite cafe closed for food soon after we arrived but we very much enjoyed walking down to Markos restaurant, 5 minutes away in Drage, to enjoy an evening meal overlooking the bay & the sea with friendly staff, good atmosphere & good value for money.
We stayed here in late June on our way back up Croatia in our motorhome. We had a warm welcome we chose our own pitch which had half sun and shade .The pitches are well laid out and some of the largest we have been on ,our van 8.2 m looked small on it.Free wifi which from where we was it was very good.Nice beach, handy shop and very peaceful. If i had to pick a small fault ,the motorhome service area is at the top of the hill as is chemical waste and the grey waste and water is hard to get to but each pitch has fresh water.
would definitely recommend and re visit.
Fantastic site with superb facilities especially the toilets. Very nice reception staff and well stocked shop on site. A big bonus is the small FKK (naturist) beach on the site separate and private from the main beach. Very large pitches on hard standing with plenty of shade.
Nicely laid out campsite very close to the village of Drage. The campsite is best approached from the North. There’s not much available in the village. Facilities in the campsite are good though it’s a bit of an uphill trek to the chemical disposal point, Internet is expensive but free in Buffet Marko in the village where food and drink is reasonably priced.
This is the most wonderful site we have stayed on in the past 20 years. The toilet & shower facilities are kept clean constantly all day every day.it has 2no.beaches within the site complex which are child freindly and a very big & clean swimming pool, on site shop is very well equipped and stays open late. The Restaurant sells a various variety of meals and it looks over the water. I can strongly recommend this site
This is a family owned and run site with the owner visible on site every day. The receptionists will give you a very warm welcome and both speak many languages including perfect English. The reception is in the middle of the site. The pitches in front face the sea and are charged at a premium, but most of the pitches behind don’t have a very good outlook. We were offered the latter as the site was almost full, but we were able to move to a “better” pitch the next morning. Pitches, they are set out on terraces and are large (120m +) and flat, they are on pebbles and so drainage is very good. There is a bar overlooking the sea and on the two Fridays that were there they provide. The facilities are first class and far superior to most other campsites. Next door is a new restaurant and swimming pool, both are accessible to campers. There is a small FKK beach but this is seperate. Good on site shop and big supermarkets 5 miles away. First class site. Very highly recommended.
Great place, nice beach, level plots, helpful staff. WIFI. Good little playground although I guess this site would be chocca in peak season. Would recommend it.
