Schitterend gelegen camping. Prachtig uitzicht op de bergen van de Auvergne. Bestelde broodjes worden \'s ochtends keurig op de kampeerplek bezorgd. Sanitair verouderd, maar wel keurig schoon!
In juni geweest. Mooie camping, mooi uitzicht, goed en schoon sanitair. Vele mooie wandelmogelijkheden in de omgeving. Vriendelijk personeel/beheerder. In juni was er geen zwembad, maar ook geen bar of restaurant.
WiFi via extern bedrijf: 10 minuten gratis, daarna (fors) betalen!
Beautiful site, lives up to its name. Lovely people, very helpful and they even deliver your bread in morning. Pool and snack bar etc was opened late June as the weather was good. Great walking direct from site.
Wifi voorzieningen zeer slecht. Je krijgt 10 minuten gratis voor gehele verblijf, dat is niet van deze tijd
Betaalde Wifi is mogelijk, maar werkt ook nog slecht.
Visited here early season. Agree with all previous comments. Most pitches are good sized and overlook the mountains.
Short walk into very interesting old hamlet of Murat Le Quaire where there is a lovely little shop selling local produce which can be arranged into small gift hamper - chutney, jam etc. they also have a Salon de The.
If you take the traffic free low road you will pass the goat farm where you can purchase cheese and home made perfumed soaps at a very reasonable price. Sadly we didn\'t manage any walking here as wet, wet, wet !
We chose this site for the views and weren\\\'t disappointed. Every pitch has a spectacular view across the valley to the mountain range beyond. Reception was closed when we arrived, but clear instructions were displayed to enable us to pitch up then report when reception open. As it was low season, the pool was closed, but it looked well maintained. Toilet & shower blocks were clean and warm, although be aware that they are mixed. A bonus was the enclosure opposite the site containing an array of animals and birds. A walk to the shops may be quite challenging as the valley is quite steep, but it is only a short drive to La Bourballe with plenty of parking areas.
Just remember we visited this site in mid September and it was quiet. This is a gem of a site, the pitches which are on terraces are large and well tended with magnificent views over to valley below and the small tourist town of La Bourboule that has 2 supermarkets for supplies and fuel.
Since our visit was late in the season half of the facilities were closed but this did not pose any problems with plenty of hot water for showers / dishwashing etc. A heated swimming pool on the top terrace with a bar beside it although it was closed during our visit. There is free wi/fi but you will need help from reception to set it up.
All in all a lovely site in a lovely area and well worth a visit.
Camping très agréable, très propre, très calme. Vue superbe. Tout est prévu même pour les chiens!
Belle région, les gens sont tres sympathique. On y a passé un tres agréable séjour!
Very friendly and helpful receptionist. Incredible views from our large and flat pitch. Toilet faciliies modern, heated, clean and generally immaculate. Stunning scenery in the region. We will go back when hopefully the weather will be better! After 4 weeks of blue skies elsewhere, we had almost a week of rain and low cloud. Not the fault of this excellent site though.
