Visited here with 8+ metres caravan. Good access and huge entrance and check in area. Pitches on the smaller side but we fitted. Staff excellent and very helpful. Bar area good but didn\'t eat there. Scenery we found breathtaking but when we visited late October early November the place was full of flies. Quiet site until the weekenders arrived but then it was Halloween madness. Not the sites fault though. Alarcon well worth a trip out but wouldn\'t bother with Cuenca again. Toilets and showers clean but dated. Would use again as a stop over but glad we spent a week there.
Large gravel pitches, friendly staff excellent restaurant. It was quiet so were allowed to choose our own pitch. Quite expensive during peak season. Situated in a village that was previously abandoned and now the entire village is the campsite. Good wifi coverage, A little noise from the high speed rail line but it didn\'t disturb us.
Recommend this site, full service pitch Inc free WiFi. Sunday walk from campsite then back for lunch of soup stake chocolate cake beer bot wine following coffee €45 for two. Then back to the van for snooze yey for the baby boomers.
Would recommend stocking up with food before you arrive on site as the village is a few kilometres away. We found the staff to be very polite and helpful. The pitches are large with high hedges between them, flat and easy to access. The area is good for walking with at least a couple of walks direct from the site.
As a couple looking for the more authentic Spain we were absolutely delighted to find this site. It\'s the best site we have found in 3 weeks of travelling! You get a lovely welcome from the family who run it. The pitches are spacious and separated by good hedging for privacy. There are only a few loos and showers but clean and warm. There\'s a lovely pool and bar/ restaurant and we had an amazing 3 course meal (cooked and served by the owners). You only get 2 choices of meal but it was beautiful and how could anyone complain when it is cheap! Hope to return some day.
We used this site as a one night stopover. The pitches are large, flat and private. A good place to stop for dog owners as it\'s in the middle of nowhere with plenty of walks! The toilets/showers were clean but are in desperate need of maintenance/refurbishment. No Wifi available on the night we were there, however a good house wine eased the pain!
this is a great campsite with some amazing surroundings but it is let down by terrible staff attitudes in reception and the bar and restaurant. they advertise to have wifi in the Casa (bar) but when we inquired about it we were told that they can switch it on but only for half an hour, and true enough after half enough she switched off the router and no wifi for the rest of the evening. the next morning was the same, why? the restaurant staff were just terrible , plain rude, food generally isn\'t available most of the time lunch only after 2pm, and dinner only after 9pm, limited options and difficult to order with the rude staff. i suggest only going to this site if you are fully equipped for meals (we couldn\'t find a supermarket open) and don\'t need the internet, we only chose the campsite because they had a restaurant but it was terrible
We have stayed at this site several times, mainly during February / March always found it worthwhile, the surrounding area an absolute delight for us and the dogs, We will be back there in February 2016
Neat and tidy site well laid out pitches. Easy access for any size vehicle No Wifi or internet. In the sites favor is the amazing lake and the scenery. Worth checking out the dam on the way to Minglanilla (not worth a visit, town not the Dam) If you want peace and quiet com here
We visited this lovely campsite in mid September this year. The weather was gloriously hot and the sky a deep clear blue. The campsite is built around an old Spanish farm and village and in parts resembles a street in an old western film. The toilet facilities were spotless and the two small swimming pools are closed in the afternoon to allow for a peaceful siesta. So dead on the dot at 5pm we jumped into the cool waters of one of the two pools to enjoy a cool down. Being out of season the restaurant was closed but as two further British caravan units had arrived during the afternoon the site manager arranged a menu and opened up the restaurant especially for us. The dinner was absolutely delicious, all local produce and recipes beautifully served by the manager\\\'s smiling wife. Sadly for us, on this occasion it was only an overnight stop and we did not have much time to visit the surrounding countryside but, we will be back.
