I have stayed here a couple of times. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Toilets clean lashings of hot water and showers are separate from toilets so no orchestra or odours. Good laundry and large open washing line area. Bar is geared for residents on site but breakfast not to bad. Other meals cheaper down town. Pitches are spacious and mostly all catch the winter sun most of the day. Clean roads with usual one way system. Good heated indoor pool. The site has a bus stop right outside to get into town for the action. Down side last bus back 1015pm. The site has caravan motorhome storage which can be useful and there is another facility across the road if you need to nip back home as I did. I would use this site again as the bus is linked to other towns along the coast and some good beaches and bars not far away. I all I stayed 8 weeks
Booked this campsite months before arrival. Explained criteria was pool for our grand children. When we arrived pool was closed for repair. Pitches we booked had superstructure that we could not get the motorhomes under. Showers were cold in the morning. Only stayed 1 night but were booked for 10 days. Gentleman on reception did not seem concerned. Even asked \"how could they know re problem of height. I said it be a good idea to know which pitches had restrictions then ask at the time of booking. We had chosen specific pitches to be near the pool!
Wonderful heated indoor pool, heated shower block too; mainly longstayers but touring pitches mixed in amongst them; great market a short walk away on 3 days a week.
We stayed on this site for the month of December 2015 in a motorhome 7.5 metres long with a smart car on a trailer. The reception staff were extremely helpful and spoke perfect English. The plot we stayed on was very large and easily accommodated our outfit. There is a water supply on each pitch and drainage from the pitch. The toilet facilities were very good with showers that were as good as a power shower at home . There are a lot of long stayers on the site but I didn\'t feel at any time that they were anything but friendly. The site is well situated for Benidorm, the beaches and Albir/ Altea.
Benidorm is busy, brash and bustling with a host of different nationalities all looking for a good time and when we first arrived we were amused by the number of tandem disability electric wheelchairs but you can dip into Benidorm as much or as little as you wish. Altea provides a welcome alternative and overall quieter but beautiful seaside location with lots of eateries for lunch and evening meal. The old town is worth the climb from the seafront for the beautiful Moroccan architecture and yet more eateries. A lot of people on the site got around on bicycles or used the buses which leave for Benidorm or Altea from right outside the campsite gates. Be aware however that if you use the buses dogs are not welcome.
Small site, pitches average, would not take a wimbago... Bar nice, pool nice, 15 min walk to Benidorm palace and nearest supermarket (Iceland). Supermarket on site has very minimal items and only Spanish. Bus stop over the road, very handy for going into town, 10 minute ride.
This evaluation has been obtained by our inspector from a questionnaire at the camp site.
An older campsite accessed from a very busy road with no footpaths with many pitches occupied long term. Facilities are in need of modernisation. The Benidorm beaches are approx. 4 km and a bus service stops directly outside the site. The restaurant provides good meals at a reasonable price.
Strong smell of sewerage on the site, site needs updating as looking a bit old and tired. Toilet block needs updating. Staff not very helpful.
