A small, level campsite on the beach. Easy entrance 500m from the village centre. Bus stop in front of the campsite, which gets you to Santiago in 1 hour and 45 minutes. Very spacious, excellent and pleasant restaurant with typical Galician dishes and panoramic views of the sea. Dolphins can be seen from the terrace. Motorbike riders welcome.

Popular campsite next to the beach with decent facilities although would have liked hot water in the wash sinks to shave with. We stayed 4 nights to chill and visit Cabo Finisterre. Mid September the price was much better than the guide suggested.
Beautiful beach location. Fairly small pitches, good facilities. Restaurant had limited menu - either the menu del dia or quite expensive main menu - no snacks, bocadillos etc for lunch. Easy walk to next village - boardwalk all the way. 45 mins drive to Finisterre but prob not the best departure to Santiago - we stayed here for two nights. moved north for one night and did S de C on way back to north coast. Muros worth a visit.
We think that this campsite is lacking on many counts, not least in the area of information for visitors. While the bus to Santiago does leave from the campsite, it takes over two hours (not the 45 mins as detailed) to reach Santiago. You would be hard pushed to make it by car in 45 minutes. Also, after 12th September, the winter timetable kicks in, which seriously reduces the number of buses available. Once there, however, it is totally wonderful, even in the rain...The site is relying heavily on its location for its favourable reviews. It is probably too late to change the printed ACSI book for 2017, but the transit time to Santiago is an error that could be caught on the App ?
On first pulling on to the site you may want to turn around and go somewhere else as it looks very scruffy. Do not be put off. The facilities are good the position is exceptional and staff friendly. All pitches are available to ACSI members so if you want a affront line pitch overlooking the beach you can or you can take another pitch and wait till a frontline one come available and move to it. The site is a short level cycle ride in to the village with a couple of shops, bars and restaurants the town is 3k away in the opposite direction on a busy road over a long hill.
Hard to imagine a better location. You can watch the sun go down each night from the terrace bar. Friendly staff. A stroll into Muros and there\'s several cafes and a supermarket. If you eat in the campsite restaurant the portions are enormous.
Managed to get a pitch overlooking the beach, superb views and lovely sunsets. We were there over the weekend so beach busy with local families, lovely to watch them enjoying the sun and sea. Site is a little scruffy, toilet facilities clean but water only just warm. Good walk into Mouras about 4km and in the other direction to the lighthouse.
Stunning setting above a bay/ beach. Enjoyed shortish walks and Cycled from the camp.
Thought the restaurant was completely over priced. Menu of the day more reasonable but \'not available\' early evening. Internet not great. Lounge was a bonus on rainy days.
We arrived with high expectations having been recommended. The view did not disappoint in any way. Howver, the site itself was badly maintained -- grass had not been cut for at least a month (in mid September) and the pitch was untidy and full of obsolete ropes, lights and parking cones. Rubbish bins at the entrance to the site were more than overflowing - although this was the same throughout the area, so it was probably not the camp site\'s fault. We had no hot water for the 2 days we were there due to a faulty part, so we only paid half price, which was fair enough. It happens....The restaurant having come really highly recommended was truly dreadful. Nothing fresh at all on the daily menu.
We came across this site and saw a lovely spot right in the beach, the lovely lady on reception saved us this space for the next day, we arrived and was in heaven for a few days. The view was to die for, kids were able to wonder onto the beach and we could see them from our caravan. There is a public car park for the beach right above our pitch and we wandered if it would be safe to leave our belongings outside, but we didn\'t have any trouble at all. It felt very safe.
The staff are lovely and very helpful, the restaurant is nice, it seemed quite expensive so we only had a few basic things here.
It was the most expensive site that we stayed on, but it was an amazing spot. No swimming pool, showers were clean but water was not too warm, OK on hot days.
You can walk or cycle to the village easily on a path all the way or continue up around a hill on the road to another amazing beach. Also passing a bakery for breakfast, selling hot squid pie!
Very few English this side of Spain so worth learning some Spanish.
Would definitely return to this site.
