This was a good site of it\'s kind so near the beach. It was clean and tidy and well looked after. Some of the pitches were on the small side and because of the corners and trees took a few manouvres it get in. Great showers with loads of hot water and lots of them and toilets. 10-15 walk to bus station were we caught bus to Girona which took 1 1/4 hours but only a 1hr coming back. We only stayed 2 nights so didn\'t go to the beach but it looked lovely and only 5min walk from site. Would go again.
This campsite is very handy for town and beach. Great pool area. Showers etc disappointing, need updating. Cleaned in the morning about 7.30 onwards, with bleach and a hose wash down.... everything is soaking wet, hence nowhere to put your things.
restaurant very uninspiring
old town nice, campsite area a bit rundown.
We stayed at Solmar for nearly ten weeks due to the fact I was undergoing emergency dental treatment. The staff were excellent. The site is very well placed and so even though we were there for a long period of time there are a lot of places you can visit such as Barcelona. The staff gave us extra discount (not asked for) because we had stayed so long. We will definitely go back.
One of the very best sites we have been on, fantastic value for money. Really good facilities, right in the middle of town with lots going on but you would not know it, the peace and quiet was amazing.
This site tried to charge me a lot for one night, even though they had the ACSI sign displayed on their door. We left for another campsite
We have been coming to Sol Mar for 6 years. It is the best site we have to been to and shal continue to go back again this year. The staff are very helpful you couldnt ask for more.
