Clean site with modern toilet facilities, next to a castle at 1.5 km walking distance to the centre of historic Cong in Connemara, close to (<30 km) the Wild Atlantic Way. Sports include fishing and canoeing. Large park and cycling route in centre.

Travelling party: Couple

Some of the reception staff seemed rather unsure of the system, possibly it was a foreign student on work experience, I spoke to a couple of French students later but not the easiest introduction to the site and it\'s facilities. I was surprised at the lack of showers, 2 with just curtains and no changing area and 2 with a proper door and wondered if I\'d gone to the wrong place. Showers and toilets are spotlessly clean if a bit restricted on size and privacy, especially when mum / grandma brings a lad of 9 or 10 in to clean his teeth. A fantastically equipped campers kitchen with pots pans crockery and a dining area, brilliant for campers. BBQ area. Good sized tarmacked hard standing for motorhomes. Cash only accepted for ACSI which makes life more difficult for those of us not in eurozone.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Stayed for 3 nights there. Family holidays with 2 kids. We were very excited to stay at this campsite and well... huge disappointment. None of the facilities listed are really there. Very small place with tiny spaces. One tent next to another for 60€ per night. There\'s no bar as listed on the website. Game room has tiny damaged pool table, football table- not working and dart board with no darts. Both gameroom and playground lacked at 9.30pm. Didn\'t see any picnic area or bbq facilities. Not really pet friendly. It\'s allowed to bring your pet with you, but I witnessed when the owner ask somebody in not polite way at all, to keep dog on the lead...
Kitchen, sitting room laundry room, bathrooms well maintened and clean. Except bathrooms all of above lacked at 9.45pm. Terrible shower with no adjustable temperature or flow. 12€ for laundry. WiFi not working or working from time to time, very slow. There\'s also no good reception so even mobile data not working properly.
Campsite located next to cemetery.
We were happy to get out of there.
We definitely won\'t be back there again and would not recommend to anyone.
