Unfortunately rain had made the pitches very wet and we had to locate a pitch with plenty of fallen leaves to make it viable for our heavy motorhome. Pitches with hard standing would be helpfull in winter. The accessibility into Dresden is good, although because of the weather we moved on earlier than expected. The wifi is free but hopeless, with us not even able to log on.
a busy site, we booked in advance due to it being so easy to get into Dresden using public transport outside the gates of site. some pitches are rather sloping and some can be a good distance from electric points, we had to move pitch as we did not pack our extention wire and none available to borrow on site. good fresh bread in mornings. clean showers token operated but given to you free on arrival. very helpful staff. a lovely new restaurant built since our last visit 2014 with tasty food.
Place was quiet with nice camping pitches.
Internet is not for free and it is not good enough for skype calls. Showers are good and you need coins from reception to use them.
It is good place to stay if you want to visit Dresden.
Friendly staff made us really welcome on arrival.
Found it difficult to find an electrical hook up from our initial site, or the second but with a little look around found another site with access to a hook up pretty easily. best to look around before parking.
Some of the sites slope a little. the one we eventually found (with the hookup) sloped more than our ramps cpuld handle. We were tired after a long drive and looking for a suitable spot that we accepted our lot as we were only there for one night.
Toilets and showers (token operated showers - issued free on arrival) were clean.
Washing up facilities had a box - 20c for warm water. The water was warm at all basins without having to pay.
Otherwise pleasant site. If we weren\'t passing through it would have been nice to stay for a few days.
Very friendly family run site. Staff always helpful. Bus stops right outside the site for easy ride into Dresden. Reception has details and can sell tickets.
Pitches generally sloping so camper vans may need levelers.
Showers and washing up hot water extra, as is increasingly common - though hot water supply for washing up seemed to be freely available at the time of our visit.
In suburban environment but little traffic noise at night
camping pret/calitate ok. aproape de dreda. toaletele sunt asa si asa, iar dusurile sunt cu fise (7 minute) care se cumpara de la receptie. internetul se plateste. locurile pentru corturi sunt langa spatiile publice.
A very good camping, when visiting Dresden. Well organized and facilities are working well. Bus stop at the camping makes it easy to reach Dresden city. Helpful staff, and nice atmosphere. Kids liked the animals on site.
This is not a tent-friendly site -- tents are banished to the lowest part of the site (farthest from the entrance, and liable to become waterlogged in wet weather), and cars may not be parked alongside them. Caravans get much better treatment! Otherwise, a good and well-run site. The bus service into the city is convenient, but effectively stops running at 20.00 -- later journeys must be pre-booked.
