This is a peaceful, quiet site. We had a large pitch which was flat and shaded. The site is nicely laid out, secure and well run. The shower block is clean although had no toilet seats or paper. There seemed to be more cold showers than hot ones, but the hot ones were were spacious. WiFi was expensive but take away chips were good. We would stay again.

This is small, no frills campsite. It’s main attraction for us was it’s location within walking distance of the old town (15 mins), bakers (10 mins), Centre Ville (20 mins), SNCF Gare (25mins), beach (40 mins) and Lidl supermarket (12mins, but Intermarche in town centre is better). Easy public transport links to various locations between Nice and Cannes which is ideal for motorhome owners. Bus fares are great value, but ideally you’d need the train for Monaco. Buses and trains seem to be crowded much of the time. The owners were pleasant, informative and helpful, although some of the additional charges are high e.g for 24hrs WiFi and only 1 device (not at a time, but anytime) - it was cheaper to buy additional data allowance from our UK network provider.
As others have commented, the washroom and sanitation block is adequate rather than luxurious and fallout from birds nesting in the washrooms roof space doesn’t help! However, it’s kept clean and has all the essentials.
It’s surprisingly quiet at night for a semi-urban location, just the occasional barking dog at night. There is a road on one boundary which may not be the best place to pitch if the occasional noisy motorbike bothers you. All-in-all this is a perfectly good site for a short or extended stay as long as you appreciate what the location has to offer, rather than judge it on facilities. I rather liked this family run site. It reminds me of French campsites I used to visit in the 1980/90s before the advent of ‘factory campsites’. There are lots of good reasons to stay here and I’d happily visit again.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years
We called at this site with out a reservation and they were able to fit us in with our large motor home. This is a small site that is family run and the 2 ladies that run reception both speak English and were extremely helpful, giving information about the surrounding area and how to get about. It is a busy site with people coming and going but it is quiet at night. The toilet block is tired and could do with being updated however it is cleaned twice a day and the showers were always hot. The pool is across the road and up some steps, which may cause issues for some. It is small but nice to cool off in. There are good public transport links to Nice, Cannes and Monaco in the town which is about 25 mins steady walk. The beach is 45 mins walk and is shingle. I would come here again and would recommend it if you want to check this area.

Pitch small and under trees which meant it was dark and we didn't have any sun. Pitch on gravel and we were badly bitten by mosquitoes or something else! Wifi expensive. Chemical toilet emptying ...a hole in the ground. Surroundings were good but didn't stay as long as planned. Madame v friendly.

We arrived very late but having phoned ahead the owner kindly waited for us. This was indicative of the friendly & helpful approach. A very nice site, small, mainly under trees with nice small pool with sun loungers, across the road (accessed by steep steps) The town is down hill, 15/20mins cycle, with the old town of Cagnes sur mer worth the uphill walk about 30mins. Good location for visiting much of the Cote d'azure. Good train connection from the town into Nice.
The shower & sanitaire facilities were a little under par, tired but perfectly functional.
A nice owner run site. Would recommend.

Food small campsite with good security. Reasonably easy to find. Facilities old but clean and good. Very friendly staff and they speak good English. Beware in Nice, we had our van broken into through the passenger door lock in broad daylight on the main boulevard by the sea. Alarm on and they were in and out quickly, destroyed the lock, catch the bus it's safer.

Small shady site in quiet outskirts of town. Site accessed by locked gate at all times. Good size pitch for our motorvan, surrounded by a hedge. Wash blocks rather dated but kept clean. We were glad to use the heater in the showers in early May. Madame and staff helpful. Relaxing to stay on site, or to walk into town. Local bus stops nearby. Bread shop and supermarket quite near, main town 20 minutes walk. Enjoyed Renoir's house and the Medieval village, with beautiful views and a couple of restaurants.

Very small pitches - stayed here three weeks - toilet facilities very poor - good location for all amenities - slight hill to campsite but local buses to all tourist places - lidls supermarket one kilometre - owner of site friendly - staff abrupt

At first we only had a few amps but the very pleasant lady owner changed the relay for us which was a great improvement. Pitches are small with a curb which might defy some movers. The occasional barking of dogs in nearby property was balanced by the bird song. Facilities and site were clean so we stayed three days during which we drove into Nice to visit the Art Galleries.

Very nice, quiet small campsite, with shaded pitches. Pitches are hard with gravel, divided from each other with hedges, we happened to have loats of ants around though. Campsite owner friendly and helpful. Despite the information on this website the BBQs are forbidden. Hot watter in the showers, sinks and lights in the washrooms are turned off at 22:30 which makes it a bit race back if you want to have one although after a hot day one might prefer a cold one. Yes, they are a bit dated but enough. The campsite feels secure due to the locked gate for which each resident gets a key in return for a 10 € refundable deposit. Wi-fi is additional 1€/day. For the beach it is handy to have bikes, otherwise it's about 30 mins walk.
Hello and thank you for your remarks.
There is a BBQ on the campsite, just near the wifi room (you can see the picture on our website), you would have ask us where was the BBQ.
For the showers, we close at 22:30 because some people take shower in the night and the people who are on the place just near were very disturb by the noise. But we are thinking to open the shower until midnight this years.
Thanks to your remarks we try to adapt ourselves to all the reflections.
Best regards and thanks
