WE HAVE CHOSEN to review the site not the owners. Overall the site is very good.Nicely laid out with hedging and trees round pitches for privacy.Toilets and showers old but very clean.Lovely pool which we had to ourselves and imagine would be packed in high season. We are active so 20 mins.x walk to station for train to NICE etc.20 mins cycle out of the site left then straight on gets you to the port and old town which is a delight with this hidden town beach of Antibes, sandy with great swimming in the bay.Lovely surroundings and a minute walk through the arch to restaurants and ice cream parlourspca. DEFINITELY the best find a nd based for visiting area.

The first bad thing I have to mention is the grumpy unsociable unwelcoming ignorant t**t that owns this site on check in didn't speak just pointed us to the crap pitch on leaving just said "name"? I paid, no thank you no nothing the worst campsite owner in 8 years (approx 200 plus campsites) of motorhomeing across Europe
Pitches and site were terrible gravel and weeds the site was in need of major makeover
Right here is the only positive - swimming pool was good
Never checked surroundings because left next day pity really sure it could have been ok
Facilities i.e. Showers etc were ok
There are lots of good sites why go here?

A very well appointed campsite, Although proprietor speaks French and not English we did not experience any problems using very basic French to communicate that we wished to extend our stay . in a good location with easy access to Biot and Antibes a station close by if you wish to travel further afield. Bring your bikes and explore the cap d'antibes .
Basically a value for money campsite in a good location .

Rude, unfriendly and unhelpful owners... thankfully we arrived when the son was on duty and he let us find a suitable spot for our 9m motorhome. Only ever got a grunt or shrug from the father and zero interaction from the mother. But we wanted a well situated site not to make lifelong friends and so stayed 5 nights. Showers clean and plenty hot water, laundry fine, get jetons from the Glums at reception. The dryer on high heat for 30 mins left T shirts still quite damp. Where we were parked at bottom of straight entrance hill meant we had no chance to empty grey water as the water dumps were in an area that we couldn't access. There was a water tap nearby to refill. We were given no information or site plan, nor an access code for the barrier. Thankfully we could manoeuvre our scooter round it. From previous reviews it seems that if you've been going there for years or stay a couple of months that you may get some communication from the family owners, but newbies are ignored!! It's not good enough to say that they only speak French. I have a little French but still only got a shrug or grimace. Oh, and Wifi is 25€ for a week or 13€ for 10 hours, not for us thank you! We'd use it again for its location but be aware that a customer service concept is non existant

Travelling party: Seniors

We have just returned from our annual trip to Le Rossignol - staying for two and a half months. Once again we were welcomed like old friends and again met up with several people who, like ourselves, return year after year to this lovely place. 'Our' pitch was ready when we arrived and in no time we were happily settled in. We renewed our bus passes in town (admiring the new Pole d'Echange) and began once again to explore the surrounding area. There is always something we seem to have missed on previous visits and this year was no exception. We also bought a ZOU card from the railway station and this entitled us to half price train travel - a huge saving, allowing us to go even further afield. The whole experience is always a pleasure and it is a delight to come back every year to this friendly, welcoming campsite with the lovely family owners. Thank you - à l'annee prochaine.

Unfriendly, rude staff. No information about campsite facilities provided. Despite speaking good French, we were literally grunted at.

We once again stayed on this site from start of June to end of July - our 7th year and can't wait to return next year. I have read some of the unfavourable reviews, French and English and am very sad that some people are not more understanding. The family running this site are absolutely lovely people - the site has been going in excess of 40 yrs with the same family so they must be doing something right ! We have never had a problem with any aspect of our stay. The proprietor, his wife, sons and sister are always very welcoming and happy to accommodate any request with a smile and a joke. Roll on 2015, when we hope to extend our stay to three months !

On arrival we received no greeting from the reception, a man walked through twice from the back without acknowledging our presence . The elderly woman behind the desk I asked (in french) if they had an emplacement just muttered to me, which I took to be an affirmative as she started to fill in a form. She pointed to a notice which said they did not open until 9 am in the morning for payment when we left. She then got in a golf buggy indicated to follow her and took us to a pitch....end of story. No information of facilities or anything else. Quite the most rude and ignorant bunch of people we have yet to meet running a campsite.

Travelling party: Seniors

This is our sixth visit to this site and we shall keep returning! We spent six weeks in June and July and were very sad to leave. This is a family run camp and we have come to know the family very well. They have always been extremely pleasant and I think the negative comments from other reviewers are probably due to a lack of communication skills - the family only speak French and if the visitors have not made any effort to learn French then the fault is as much theirs ! Every year we meet up with others who are returning for the umpteenth time - twenty five years, even forty years in one case ! There can't be much wrong with either the camp or the family ! We will keep coming back and hopefully extend our stay even longer.

This is a very tight site for larger outfits, we had difficulty getting put off the site because of this. There's very little room at the entrance and if the site is full there is no room to turn round. We witnessed several groups having to unhitch the caravan to turn it round to leave after being told the site was full! The owners could have been friendlier, we didn't get one smile from them during our weeks stay.
