We have just left the campsite(the last to leave for the 2013 season!) The campsite is just as lovely as the last time we visited. We received a very warm welcome from the owners Alistair and Jo. Even though it was the very end of what I hear to have been a very busy season, everything was still running to the usual high standard! We are looking forward to returning next year. Many thanks!

The toilet shower/toilet block disgusting. Floors looked like they had never been scrubbed. Dirt around all the basin taps. Old large cobwebs hanging from ceilings. The chemical toilet unit was filthy with flush tap not working.

Staff are very helpful and friendly, and a nice atmosphere at this camp. Our base camp as we store our motorhome here.
Totally recommend it :-)

Very friendly site run by Brits with mainly british campers. Facilities were good and cleaned regularly. Pitch sizes were ok although we did have several patches of mould growing on the pitch were previous residents must have disposed of food debri. Grey water was disposed of around the bushes on the pitch. We had a meal in the restaurant which was good. The village was about 15 minutes walk away, it was not a very lively village but it did have a large supermarket on the outskirts.

Nice local fields for dog walking, good sizes pitches good information leaflet, close to town Airvault, toilet facilities very busy. There is a bar/restaurant on site but while we were there it was serving fish and chips! not quite what we came to France for. English owners could well explain why the site was overwhelmingly English campers. We having a man playing an organ in the bar was a little old fashioned.

Have kept the van here for the past 8 years and its been a home from home. Staff have always gone out of their way to be helpful and go \"the extra mile\". Looking forward to spring next year and our first visit of many for the year.

Reaction from the campsite December 12, 2013

Just realised that you gave us a review on the ACSI website. Thank you SO much for your lovely positive comments! Have a great winter and we look forward to seeing you next year.
All the best

De Courte Vallee is a site were time stands still from the time you arrive, the team is very helpfull and nothing is to difficult for them. The on site bistro is excellent at good prices. The menu is varied and the food is excellent. Both the site and the local area is well decorated by flowers and the history of the local town is where you must explore.
The toilet facilites are very good too, with large indivdual shower areas with laundary areas too.
The site can be busy, but those on site would not be aware, as the staff carry on ensuring that all who arrive are made welcome and know which pitch they will occupy.
It is a site that you will return to, as there is so much to see and do in the local area, the fact tht you will also wish to enjoy the whole experience again and again.

Reaction from the campsite December 12, 2013

It is comments like these that make life here at Courte Vallee so very worthwhile for ourselves and our team. A big thank you from us all!

Travelling party: Seniors

This is an excellent site with very helpful owners and staff. A friendly atmosphere is created among the caravanners with the activities that are organised by the owners. Local walks are organised by one of the regular customers and the fact that several caravanners take up residence for most of the season indicates the quality of this site.
