Lovely site with walk to the beach. Shame it\'s let down by smelly toilets caused by toilet emptying in shower/toilet area. Also paid for wifi but was rubbish.

Excellent location right on a wonderful beach. Great for both cycling and walking. Good for local shops and within easy reach of the lovely old market Town of Cadbourg. Don\'t miss the Saturday market it\'s an absolute must. All the staff was first class and they found me a site near the port on the last day recommend this site to anybody.

We loved this site. We had a great pitch The location is fantastic right on a wonderful beach. There is a short walk to the town along the beach. We found a great restaurant called Escapade. The covered pool is great and I had it to myself most days. There are two lots of facilities the largest near us was mixed sexes and extremely busy so it did get a bit smelly towards the evening.. Even so we will definitely be returning.

This is a site that I shall not return to. The pitch was small and dirty with a high level of noise on the site. The only chance of a sea view was it I took a ladder with me on holiday!
The swimming pool was good and not too crowded. Local cycle routes are not that good, often finishing in heavy traffic areas.
Too expensive and I am surprised it gets four stars.

This campsite was recommended as it was near to the Caen ferry port, however we found the pitch a tight fit for our 7m caravan, and had difficulty getting in and out, it was getting dark when we got there, and we had to leave early in the morning. However it is on the coast, and for a longer stay there is plenty to see in the area.

Very good position on a great sandy beach. The pitches vary in size and privacy. Sadly the site is let down by poor organisation and a lack of respect for their customers.
I accept that arriving without a booking one has to take pot luck and we agreed to have one pitch and then move the following day to another.
The second pitch was close to the beach and ideal for us - I asked how long we could stay on that pitch and was told, \"for as long as you want.\" After our fourth night on that pitch we were told we had to move within 10 minutes and were offered two other places. They said someone else had made a reservation for our pitch and despite us saying we had not told them we were leaving, we had to move. We decided to leave the site as it was clear they had accepted a booking for the pitch we were on with no consideration of us.
As an aside they sell cheap ice creams, marked \"Not for individual resale\" at Magnum prices.

Pitches cramped with difficult access. Messed up both bookings. Retained my wife\\\'s passport on the first visit, causing us a lot of distress as she thought she\\\'d lost it. Electricity was not working on first visit. Solitary warden managed to fix it eventually. parking to check in was limited causing traffic jams and altercations with others. The site seemed to put all the emphasis on making money and none on giving value for money. Will never go back

We stayed here for 3 nights. There are two sanitaires - the one nearest reception is single sex but shower was cool and facilities need updating. The larger block is mixed sex but the water was hot and it was slightly more up to date. Pitches are close together and not as large as many sites. Best feature of this site is the lovely beach just next door. You can walk to the nearest town in just 10 minutes via the beach. Market day is Thursday.
