Very run down, only toilet facilities open were by reception, clean but in need of a facelift. Wifi very expensive, lots of scruffy chalets. On the plus side it\'s a short walk to a supermarket and Juno beach.
Nice site. About 30 minutes from Caen ferries. Staff very obliging. Yes the toilets are out in the open but are clean and the showers are very hot. Very close to beach and walks along the seafront past many interesting WW2 bits. Intermarche very close.
This site has nothing whatsover to recommend it. The sanitary block is the worst we have ever seen, anywhere. Everything was dirty and broken down. The pitches were unkept and dark. This site needs some serious improvement. It was a depressing stay. We stayed one night and escaped. I know that the star system relates to facilities provided, not quality, but even so, one would expect better from a 4* site. Not worth the price. Horrid! Avoid!
On arrival the girl at reception was most helpful, and gave us all the information we needed. Having booked well in advance, our friends and I were expecting a decent pitch, but were placed right next to the toilet block. The toilets were absolutely filthy, not the bowl itself, but its surrounds. The tiles were leathal when wet, and the showers were so hot that a number of guests actually burnt themselves. This did come in handy though as there was no hot water for washing up, so we filled our bowl from the shower. The cubicles of the shower were so dirty that a number of used sanitary items were in the cubicles, despite complaints, for THE ENTIRE WEEK! The site was very noisy at night, not good with young kids.
The poolside is shabby and litter and fag butts are spread all over the site. The baby changing facilities had bare wires hanging from the wall, and the stuffing from the mat was over the floor for the whole week.
The restaurant is poor with woeful service.
Do not come here.
We arrived here expecting a four star site but it is more of a three star. The staff at reception were excellent but sadly the tourist area was a bit disorganised. We were told to go and find a pitch and then come back and tell them which number we had taken but we couldn`t find any numbers to tell them. The area was lovely and there was a fab supermarket along the road. Sadly the site is not one which we would rush back to.
