Good value site. Friendly, helpful reception staff, clean, modern and efficient sanitary facilities.
Pitches are good size, level and there’s plenty of shade. There are a few permanent emplacements but these are all kept immaculately.
Easy walk, 10 minutes max, into the pleasant town of Jargeau with it’s bakers, bars, shops, restaurants etc.
Good site for dog walking, with easy access to the riverside.
Good site for cycling as well.

An excellent site. We stayed 2 nights and were able to walk beside the Loire from the site. Spotless sanitaires and plenty of space in September. Helpful staff and we even had free WiFi on the pitch although we were around 40m from reception.

The acsi description is not correct in saying there are water taps within 15m.There are no water taps anywhere on site except in the toilet block! Also there is no paper in the loos. Shower and washing up water was only luke warm. It\'s sandy underfoot but if you can cope with that the site is pleasantly located and the owners are very helpful.

A nice flat site on the banks of the Loire and very close to the town Jargeau. The cycling in the area, we have road bikes, was plentiful and flat. There is quite a bit off-road on the Loire a Velo routes but even on the roads it was good as car drivers are very courteous. The site was friendly and pleasant with a nice walk into town for the bars or supermarket. The toilet facilities were fair, there is no toilet paper or seats. There are a limited number of showers which are push button but the temperature was fine. Surprisingly only one sink, two if you count the disabled area. The washing up area has lots of sinks and hot water. There is a washing machine and separate dryer should you want that. Also a room with iron and iron board and a microwave and kettle, which is very thoughtful. Reception very friendly and helpful.

Nice site with good size pitches either in shade or without, plenty of choice. Friendly staff and a walk to town of 5 mins. Good cycling on tracks. One toilet block up to date but one really old fashioned but all clean. Discovered we had been before 5 years ago so can’t be bad. Would use again.

Perfect location for bike riding and geocaching. Site was well laid out with large spaces. Staff gave a super welcome.

As advertised a quiet campsite with no frills. Turned up without a booking, very friendly and helpful reception. Pitches are generous and level with a mix of open and under trees for shade. Shower block is very clean but there are few other amenities which suits us. The town is 5 minutes walk away and has full range of shops, bars and restaurants. We intended to stay for one night but opted for a second.

Pleasant enough campsite near the Loire. Good for cycling with the Loire cycle path adjacent. Wifi free and available at pitches close to reception where we found it good quality. The modern toilet block would benefit from a good clean to remove grime building up on tiles, floor etc. Water taps not readily available on touring pitches. So it was OK but has potential to be a lot better.
