We used this site as a one night stopover en route south. We picked it from the Acsi app which we find very useful . Our sat hav directed us to the site which is down a very long drive. The owner was in reception & good English spoken. As it was early in the season at the beginning of June we had a choice of pitches although some were wet & slippy after the recent heavy rain - our mover struggled a bit as got muddy on the rollers - you may struggle on some pitches without a mover due to trees. Toilets & showers clean & adequate. Fresh bread could be ordered each morning. The bar/restaurant wasn\'t open but the owner gave us directions & a recommendation to get an evening meal which was fine. No wifi available. It was very quite & peaceful & we got a good nights sleep apart from an owl hooting! The owner said that it was ok for us to have a walk round the grounds & I must say the chateau looked beautiful. Overall a nice calm site which we would use again.

We arrived at 4pm in our motorhome and found the owner very helpful in choosing a pitch. The site is in the grounds of a small chateau and has a family sized swimming pool. The sanitary block is better than some we have experienced recently. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed so we had to travel to the village to eat as I didn\'t feel like cooking myself after a long hot day travelling and site seeing.

A quiet site with a grande entrance. A peaceful location which appears to be used largely as a stop-over. Not close to any of the main tourist places in the Loire but not too far to travel to them. The toilets and showers were adequate and kept clean but have seen better days. The swimming pool is a good size but leaves and insects were not removed as frequently as they should have been.

This is an excellent site with very friendly helpful owners. The setting is beautiful with walks clearly signed from the camp site which the owners hand you a map of the routes without even being asked. You can walk round the grounds and the swimming pool with the back drop of the Chateau gives a feel of real opulence. If it is peace and quiet with walks this is the site for you.

A very impressive drive leading to this campsite set the tone of our stay. Welcomed by English speaking staff we had a choice of two large pitches. Plenty of either sun or shade depending on your preference, although it was quite a struggle to get the caravan level. The site is set in the walled garden of the chateau and is very nicely laid out, the facilities are clean and good standard, the bar was open during our visit but the restaurant was closed for the season. The swimming pool was popular and well used as it was very warm during our stay. A very nice site that does exactly what it says.

Stayed 3 nights at this site and had in-laws aged 87 and 82 with us. Used the ACSI website to check before hand if they had bungalows for rent. Better value for the in-laws to stay in the site bed and breakfast. The owners take particular pride in checking that they know what is happening on site.

We stayed at this site twice and would go back to it. The owners are very aware of what happens on their site and take pride in looking after it. They're also very friendly. The site is nice, peaceful and relaxing with a good swimming pool. There are good restaurants in the nearby village.
