Beautiful campsite located south of Trégastel-Plage on the Landrellec headland. Spacious pitches on grass, partially divided by low bushes and trees. Some of the pitches have a magnificent view of the sea. Vehicle entrance ticket not available between 12.30 and 15.00. The 'Fruits de Mer' platter in the restaurant is recommended.

Despite the sea fog lovely location for 2 nights. Despite an extra cost the pitches on the beach edge really are in a super location. Facilities ok though not always clean. Low season seems to bring lowering of standards. Restaurant very good if you like mussels. Quite a way from any other services but coastal path is a pleasant walk.
on the walking trail and it is possible to cycle to the granite rose coast at Tregastel-plage to see rock formations
A creperie and a bar a 5 minute walk away - but you need to book as popular - good swimming pool, well laid out campsite with sea around - bread and take away and restaurant also on site
The reviews from Margaret and Seacrest below sum it up. This is the only site ever where the reception (wife owner I think), point blank refused to try any english (or german to a couple arriving with us), and we nearly left at this point. Do not arrive at lunch, and under no circumstances drive up to the access barrier before booking in - its single track in and out and little room to park on the inside. Retstaraunt - my pork was well overcooked, and my wifes fish was dry but edible (not worth the cost-its not cheap). Its a remote site and I will not be going again, despite stunning scenery when tide is in. There are better sites for nearby facilities/activities.
Immaculate facilities -toilet block and pitches - and well maintained. Notices at the camp and web-site now say there is a charge for wi-fi, which does not seem to work well. The restaurant's service was exceedingly slow - nearly 3 hours for 2 courses! The starter was a salad and the poor quality main courses overcooked steak and veal. The electricity was either 5, 10, or 15 amps, but many pitches, including ours kept 'tripping-out' in the middle of cooking. We even switched off the fridge and ran one appliance at a time, but it still kept happening! There were very strong W/NW winds during our stay, and, in spite of the high hedges, some exposed pitches had to take-in their awnings.
There is a lack of other facilities within walking distance, apart from a creperie, which is good.
'Monsieur' never stops working all day to keep the facilities tidy and in good order, but he is also the cook, and probably too tired to work from 8am to 11pm without much of a break!
Our pitch was large and well maintained. Toilet block was clean with good facilities. There was a charge to fill the motor home tank with fresh water. We paid for Wifi but couldn't get it to work. We were given a refund and told it was because we had an IPad. Camp is situated at end of an estuary so for most of the time the water is not there. However, it is lovely when it is. Small sandy beach along the front of site is OK. Easy walk to a small supermarket. Ate in restaurant which was fine with friendly waitress. Probably wouldn't go back as the location was a bit disappointing.
I thought that WiFi was free (as stated by another reviewer) but the receptionist was adamant that there was a charge - poor customer service skills did not help and she refused to look at the website. I can only therefore assume that sometimes its free and sometimes they charge- crazy.
Pitch with sea views. Toilet facilities very good. Wifi signal poor and you need to be near the toilets to get it but it's free so I can't complain.
We found this campsite through ACSI. As it was early in season the site was empty. We picked a pitch right on the beach with stunning veiws. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpfull. Toilet/Shower were good and clean. Very impressed. We hope to come back again later on this year.
We had a bungalow with a view of the ocean. It was well equiped (however the BBQ we rented didn't come with any cooking utensils). The owner is a fantastic guy who is very friendly and a pleasure to have met. He really made us feel at home. The location is excellent as you are close to lots of things to see and do in the area. The bar/restaurant was good and they had a modest selection of necessities such as soap, coffee etc all of which were very reasonably priced. We will definetly go back.
Good access, but inner road a bit tight for twin axle. Quiet - we stayed 4 nights in mid June. Around 15 small pitches with sea view, but the rest is huge pitches set in hedged squares - we had a pitch for 4 to oursleves. Good walks from site.
