What a massive site! It’s 1km from the security gates to reception alone! However, once you get through the laborious process of selecting your site and you get set up, it’s surprisingly okay! There was some noise at night, presumably from the disco near the security gates and that went on until at least 03:00, but it didn’t disturb us that much. The toilet facilities were kept immaculately clean; of the two blocks near us, one was rather more modern than the other.
Wifi was very slow and most of the time it would not even connect.
In May it was a fine place to stay for a couple of nights, but it must get very busy during the summer months!
Access to Zadar is possible by bus but out of season there is no bus from the site itself, so we had to walk about 2km into Nin to catch a bus into Zadar: information is at reception. There are several restaurants on site and good-sized supermarket.

An excellent site. Don\'t be put off by the size. It is huge, but its very clean and the facilities are out of this world. It\'s like a five star complex.
The only downside is that it takes ages to check in and out

Visited in a camper van with my wife. We don’t normally like large sites but this site didn’t give a large site impression. Excellent showers and no issue with hot water unlike some recent sites we have been on.
Site is 14k into zardar but easily parked in town when we drive in as we have a dog.
Nice sandy beach on the site and very friendly.

The camp complex is huge and entirely enclosed by a perimeter fence, with a checkpoint about a kilometre from Reception. There is only one way in and out, via the checkpoint, which doesn't encourage exploration unless you're mobile (car, bicycle). The historic town of Nin is close enough to cycle to, which we did, and there's a daily bus from the campsite to Zadar at 10:00, which returns at 18:15. The set up here is pretty self sufficient with shops, several restaurants, a takeaway and plenty of activities, some of which incur additional costs, such as the inflatable waterpark on the beach. The newly renovated pool opened whilst we were here in early June but the kids area was still being worked on. We didn't use the pool as it was so busy and chose to walk along the beach a little way for a quiet spot. Pitches are good, mostly spacious and the majority with some shade. The sanitary facilities are excellent and the free wifi is good. The site seems well run and is probably best enjoyed by those looking for an all inclusive type of experience, or as a base for a few days, to explore the area with your own transport. Be aware that it does get very busy here, even early in the season.

Thanks heavens we didn't have to stay here. This is a huge holiday village and there was an incredible amount of building work going on. We took one look and fled.

This campsite is absolutely huge in scale, but actually very well planned and managed. Good sized pitches with some shade from tall pines and screening from scrubby bushes. The facilities are plentiful and of a very high standard indeed. Extraordinary choice of restaurants on site plus a decent supermarket. Good Wifi all over the site, although only one device per unit could log on at a time. A good comfortable place for weary travellers like us to stay for a couple of days to recuperate and visit Zadar (lovely city, not to be missed - make sure you experience the Sea Organ), but would also be a great place for young families wanting bucket and spade type holidays. Our only gripe, a minor one, was that not enough staff were on reception at busy times so long queues built up when checking in, paying, buying washing machine tokens, etc. Otherwise, it is difficult to fault this campsite.

We stayed here for 5 days in june, the staff were friendly although the reception could do with being bigger and more staffed as its always busy.We were 2 rows from the beach on a large fully serviced pitch .There is some noise on this camp but its a holiday camp so expect it ....not to bad.
bus connection to Zadar at site, also if you do not wish to leave the site it has everything you could want.
Would recommend especially for families. ..lots of money has been spent on this huge site and they are improving it all the time.....we stayed in a motorhome but cabins are further away from beach.

This is a huge site with over a 1000 pitches, lots of statics and apartments. We were there in the second half of May when the site was reasonably quiet. Once again it is one of the sites that is very popular with the German and Dutch. We were one of two English caravans.
The pitches are mainly on the large side big enough for a large caravan, awning and a couple of cars. Most seem to have their own water and drainage and there is a decent amount of shade provided by trees.
It is possible to feel overwhelmed on arrival as the site is more like a village than a campsite with about 6 restaurants and coffee bars, supermarket, bakery, souvenir shops and a wine shop but you soon get acclimatise. There is a large swimming pool and a huge sandy beach. Seems extremely well suited for children and although it is only May the animation team are here and keen to involve you in their various games. I am not sure I would like to be here in high season as I suspect it gets extremely lively and noisy in the evening. If you like that sort of thing you will love it here. We very much enjoyed the site during its quiet period. Whilst we were there was a reasonable amount of building work going, seeming to involve installing new mobile homes, a new toilet block and annual maintenance. I am sure this will all be complete by the end of June.
Happy to recommend.
