We used the site as a stop over for just one night but could stay a few nights in this nice relaxing atmosphere. Swimming pool and bar looked good but did not try out. Good touring pitches in an old Apple orchard. Quite a log way down small lanes from main roads to get to.
Writing this review whilst at the site after enjoying a huge bowl of mussels accompanied by lovely crispy chips at the site restaurant. There must have been at least a kilo of mussels. Including the chips and a basket of bread 12.50€ which is a bargain in France! Small menu but everything is made to order and looks great!
The site is well kept with large flat pitches with the odd apple tree for shade. And they sell cider made from their own apples in a bottle.
The toilet block is not huge but is lovely and clean.
The local village is a 10 minute stroll downhill through the woods. Wear sturdy shoes as its a bit rocky in places. The village is one if the prettiest in France and has an Abbey, church, a few restaurants and a help tourist office.
We walked from the village to Brionne on a 22km circular walk (leaflet at tourist office) through forests and woods. There is a cycle path too that seems to be well signed.
In summary a great family run site. Recommended for more than just an overnight stop.
Een prachtige camping, open overzichtelijk keuze volle zon of schaduw grote plaatsen duidelijk afgelijnd. Sanitair mooie en proper. Onthaal zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Restaurantje prijs - kwaliteit is dik in orde. Een hele mooie omgeving. Goed onderhouden overdekt zwembad.cp is ook kind vriendelijk. Prijs kwaliteit zeer goed!
tres bon endroit pour le repos et la tranquillité, avec la foret super pour mes chiens. Le village est magnifique. tres bon cadre.
Een mooi camping, netjes verzorgd en behoorlijk grote plaatsen.
Vriendelijk personeel. Een hele mooie omgeving.
lovely site convenient for 1st night after ferry or tunnel. Set in a lovely area.
good swimming pool - covered.
Food looked and smelled good, quite a simple menu. Had own food so did not use.
Always looking for a good first site in France after the Tunnel and this was a real find. Quite large well-drained pitches (though not hedged), heated toilet & shower block, food available even in April, free wi-fi and great dog walking opportunities in the woods around the site too. A magical early evening walk down the forest track opposite the site drew us towards the tolling bell for Evensong at the Abbey in Le Bec Hellouin just a short distance away. A choice of three restaurants in the village as well and a lot to explore locally. You\'ve probably gathered that we loved it!
un très bon camping qui nous été conseiller par nos voisins en Belgique, joli village, calme et nature a volonté, site très entretenu tenu par un patron seconder de son épouse et des employés très agréable, nous y retournerons.
Near a beautiful medieval village - a short walk from the site (down a steep wooded area) God for walking and cycling, very clean sanitary facilities, friendly staff, pool was open but never tried it (it was March!). Yes would stay their again
Camping très agréable avec une véritable implication des patrons qui sont fort sympathique. Sanitaires très propre, snack avec bouffe sympa. Je recommande vivement cet endroit !
